There was a beautiful ‘59 Brookwood on an estate in my home town. It would come in daily to the post office. I always thought it looked sharp in its simplicity. Brooklin’s first issue of this car was done in Harbor Blue. Later it was offered in Colonial Cream. I had this one done in Tuxedo Black by John White, I think, painted as if in a standard issue as if Brooklin had painted it.
The only actual black Brookwood I could find for comparison was this barn find 2-door.

I have the blue one and have two toned it with another shade of blue. The black color to me looks very livery or service especially as a wagon. John White’s paint application is very stunning.
Ralf, that additional chrome trim adds authenticity especially to the rear end gull wing design that was a mark of the ‘59 models. The black tires are appropriate as this was the entry level series. Nicely done. Thanks for the pictures.
