+1  Agree.  Collectors would probably appreciate a 1960 version being done to complement this one; perhaps a 2drht. in this awesome color?

This particular model is a bit strange for me Mike; I like the 1:43 model much more than the actual car.

I have the GLM in blue with top up and also the Brooklin both in top down and top up. We need the 58 to complete the three year collection. As Jack suggest perhaps a hardtop?

Bob;  I don't know how this issue is for you but I find it difficult to display the older Brooklins beside the likes of GLM/STAMP, Goldvarg, etc.  Using the '58 thru '60 Lincoln for example, I find that as much as I appreciate the early Brooklin '60 Lincoln, when I place it beside the latest '59 Lincoln by GLM it can't compare.  Obviously it is the lack of chrome trim finish for the most part.  For me it's just that the BRK is from a different time.  For right or wrong what I have taken to doing in the last year is to keep my Brooklins, Durhams, etc. displayed separately from the more modern good quality models I purchase.  We're all different I guess.....

Jack I agree with you. My white metal models are displayed in muti car cases while I leave my resins in their individual cases which means they are not displayed together. My comment was only meant to point out that having a 58 would give us the representation of the world's largest unibody cars.

@bob-jackman    Bob,  Neo made a quite nice version of the '58 Mark III in both a two door hardtop, (silver blue) and a top down convertible, (Black).

@stanton-lyman Stanton you are correct. I forgot completely about the Neos and didn't bother to check my collection. I have the hardtop in black and the top down convertible in Bronze. At my age it doesn't pay to trust my memory...thanks for the reminder.
