I have completed the construction of the 3D printed 1961 Dodge station wagon obtained form a 3D producer in Poland.  This was a very simple kit with only an enclosed body and four wheels/tires so some modeling skills were needed to enhance it and built a optional luggage rack. A classic Virgil Exner design.

Great work. Was the interior included or did you add your own?

The body was one piece, but hollow inside. I had to cut off the base in order to create and fit seats, dashboard, load floor, etc.  This 3D item was printed in a totally different method than the other 3D kits I am currently working with.    The one under construction now is much more like a miniature Revell or AMT 24th scale plastic kit with a myriad of small parts that have to be assembled.Â
And I noted an error in this Dodge which I will correct. The front bumper end bullets are supposed to extend onto the front fenders. Rectification currently in process.

John, one of your best IMO. I am very partial as my dad had a 61 Polara four door hardtop. As always, your work is superb.

i was thinking of getting another one and doing a four door hardtop.  Or you could do it yourself, and paint it the correct color, which was?

@john-quilter John, My dad's was a light blue with a dark blue interior. I have the Neo model Phoenix four door hardtop in the correct blue color.

Bob,
You might be pleased to know I have ordered an additional Polara station wagon kit for the purpose of converting it into a Polara four door hardtop.  Shouldn't be a hard conversion as I have moved up the learning curve with the construction project on these items which require cutting away the base, windows, creating seats and dash, , modifying the ride height and fitting more realistic wheel covers. Stay tuned, or send me some photos for details of your car. jquilter{usual symbol}peoplepc{period}com

John, I have no pictures of my dad's car but am anxious to see your building skills creating the model.
One detail I forgot to mention was dad's had the deluxe spinner wheelcovers.
