Subjecting both photos to micronexpansive, ultra-intense, non-evasive, enlarging biometrics, thus, comparing par levels to obtain maximum calibration to ensure proper despooler and linear dimensions......

Well, you be the Judge.

This one will look good on display beside my Goldvarg green '62 Olds wagon.

Have you noticed the '62 Olds wagon and this new Buick wagon have a very similar rear chrome bumper styling Jack?

I'm hoping for a sedan or convertible version of these or the same era Pontiac Tempest or Olds F85.

You know it Moe.....this one I will be surely getting!

And I am still un-patiently waiting for the Goldvarg 1967 Country Squire wagon!

Why oh why can't all of these really beautiful models be 1:24 scale?  It just disappoints me that we 1:24 guys can't get quality models anymore, while the microscopic world is in abundance.  I continue to just shake my head.  No matter how nice 1:43 scale is, and I know they are, the scale will never lure me in.

As a collector of different scale models, I am never disappointed George. If I want a particular model car, they probably make it in at least one scale.

I used to tell my ex-wife (before I caught her cheating red-handed and divorced her) 'It is not my job to make you happy'

That's what I am here for Jack! 🤣

If you look at both the models, you will see there are a lot of similarities, as Buick and Oldsmobile were sisters under the same umbrella.

Smile A good point ! I, too, like all the scales. In an ideal world, every car would be made in every scale and in all mediums

With regard to scale, for me, I just can't get in to the little scales regardless of what car it is.  Even if they were to give me complete line of Oldsmobile's in 1:43 scale, I'd not be interested.  LOL, I guess for me, "size matters".

LOL, I'll have to take your word on that, but I'll never find out for myself.  Sorry.

Do you collect or have any interest in any other scales, other than 1/24 George?

Two 1/43 scale companies, one resin and one white metal, promised a 2nd gen AMC Javelin about 2 rears ago, give or take, and neither delivered, so I bought the Replicarz 1/18 resin model.....I just can't sit around and wait for someone or something to make me happy.....I have learned I have to go out and get it!

If you purchased one 1/43 model of a car you really love, I will almost guarantee you will buy more of them. Give it a try and buy a resin....they are cheap....about a hundred dollars or so....I recommend a Goldvarg model because he has plenty of Oldsmobiles (ask me how I know) 🤩 and I know you like Oldsmobiles George!
