It is an excellent model. However, I like the green best.

@jcarnutz I like the green to but have green on to many other woodies and this was different.
It certainly is a real wagon beauty here and in other colors, too. An exceptionally nice one in any collection.
I got the gold one as well; mainly because I recall how good the 1:1 car looked back in the day plus it was something different on display with the others.
I also have this wagon in gold. It's now my favorite wagon. Along with Neo's 1968 Country Squire and Goldvarg's '67 hopefully coming soon, a nice collection is forming.

Green is an awesome color for the wagons of the 60's; I'm going with the upcoming 2-tone green 1970 Ford wagon from Goldvarg.
I've always liked the Vintage Burgundy which my parents had in our '63 CS. Wish one was available.

Weren't 2-tone colors passe by then ?
@100ford2003 Great question Steve. Here is an excerpt from a 2016 article I found on the internet:
Whatever happened to two-toned cars?
A journey through car color history
Thanks Jack, makes sense to me. I never liked vinyl tops on '70 Firebirds & Camaros for example but on their earlier years they looked ok. The '67 Eldorado almost looks naked w/o a vinyl top but don't you dare put one on a Toronado & Riviera and ruin their fantastic styling. Just my opinions.

Steve; It seems to me that, upon greater scrutiny, the prototype image that Goldvarg shows on their site portrays a "vinyl" roof effect (see below). When considering your earlier 2-tone color question Steve, the availability of this vinyl roof addition (or perhaps option) on the '70 Ford Galaxie wagon leaves me uncertain. Perhaps someone else has better information about this being available back in the day??
