A bit of helpfull labelling from Brooklin
Whilst pacaking a model for postage, I nnoticed that the model was a distinctive different shade, so I queried this with Amanda at Brooklin. She told me that when they become aware of a significant shade difference, the box label will have the notification "Second Edition", so if your Brooklins/Lansdownes etc have this on the box then they will be a differnt shade to the original release. The ones I have noted so far are LDM7A Ford Zephyr Zodiac, BRK143 Plymouth Belvedere Suburban, and BRK145 Chevrolet Brookwood Wagon. Whist the first two are obviously different, BRK145 isn't so much. If anyone is interested in seeing photos then let me know and I will post them here.
Thanks, Mike. Would love to see the photos of the Brookwood Wagon.
I always thought the Harbor Blue Poly on the original one which I have is a bit too bright. I would be interested to see if the revised edition is closer to the actual color. I wonder when they issued the revised color. This '59 Brookwood is one of Brooklin's best castings, and it's not even pink and green.

The colour changes aren't deliberate, just the result of another interfering directive from that vastly overpaid body of busybodies known as the EU.
Thanks, Mike, done.
