So, I was inspired by Chris Sweetman's post on "A Cloud of B.A.T.s" and got to wondering what a group of station wagons would be called. I couldn't find an answer but I think corral sums it up nicely. Well, whatever the grouping is, I've been adding a few lately. Seems some sellers are amenable to my reasonable offers which has netted me a restored Dinky, a couple Conquests, an ABC, and a J & M Classics (which I've shared previously).
Nice to have some fresh additions to the wagon collection. A few of these I've been hunting down for a long time...

Hi Randy,
May I please ask what company produced the '63 Country Squire ? My parents had one just like that. All the wagons you have are just beautiful.
I found out Randy....a Conquest model. The ones on bay are used and in pretty bad shape showing some excessive roof warping but still asking high prices.
Conquest also made a 1963 1/2 Ford convertible and 2 door hardtop. I have the 2 door hardtop, and it still looks good. I have never seen the station wagon except in pictures on the internet.
Always glad to see others collecting woodies. Keep adding, never enough woodies. I managed to get a '63 Country Squire with a pretty decent roof. Yes roof warp is a pretty constant problem with these from the day they were manufactured. Here's mine and also a small herd of woodies cut from my much larger herd and a small herd of Marmon Herring 4 X 4 Fords and Mercury.

Thank-you Ed. I hope that there's no 'roof warp' with the convertible.
It is so nice to see this corral of Woody wagons; I hope to see more 50s and 60s done in the future. Sergio did a beautiful job on his recent '65 Mercury Colony Park!
