@randyrusk

Do you think anyone paid that much for a roof warped car? I would not.

I really like the model of the Country Squire. I picked one up from an eBay auction a few years ago. It was slightly less than perfect, well maybe a bit more than that. It was filthy, so I gave it a good cleaning. It still needs some new whitewall tires, the ones on it are not great. The wood trim needs a little touching up because it's coming off in places, I need to find the right color brown paint for that. It also has a missing wiper blade (I should have a replacement) With that, the model was only $60. so I think I did alright. it's not perfect, but when I get it finished up, it should display well.  At least the roof is not at all warped.

This Country Squire is one of the models I wish Buz would have reissued. I suspect it was made many years ago, before I was collecting 1/43 scale cars.

I am adding another to the corral.  It is a 1959 Mercury Colony Park by Conquest.

Those wagons all look great ! In 1/43, I have a resin 1964 Ford Country Squire in blue/turquoise and a "wood" side insert.

I have this one as well, plus one in white.  The wheels detract a bit but they are nice models.

That's an enormous collection John that makes me jealous. My first car I bought for $200 in 1969 was a 61 Country Sedan. I spent quite a bit of time and a little bit of money to personalize it. It did me good for the few years that I had it.  Always remember going up to Yosemite and camping and sleeping in it cuz it was too cold outside to pitch a tent.

Well, I have a plan to do a 1966 Country Sedan.  I'll be a few months as I  have 1966 convertible planned and am currently working on a 1941 Plymouth four door sedan.

'65 - '69 Ford wagons, especially the Country Squire, we're always my favorites. I did like some Caprice wagons also.
