Chrysler Australia did do some really unique mix of American sheet metal over the years as the link above shows. Their cars were sometimes a year or so behind the US versions and probably benefited from obsolete US tooling sent down under for mix and match production that created some interesting cars.

I love the style of these. I have sedans for 1957, 1958 & 1960 as well.
