I’d been watching a particular Austin Hereford by Kenna Models on eBay for some time. The seller had a “blue sky” price on it which meant it went through several cycles without a bid. After its third re-listing, I decided to make a reasonable offer for it, which was accepted.

I have an example of this model already in my collection in dark green, but one can never have too many woodies! This one is #417 of 600. I couldn’t quite capture the color well. It’s a bit more green than the photos show. As a plus, this one has a visor which my other one doesn’t.

It is a gorgeous model and yes the actual color is more greenish blue.  I had it but six years ago it was stolen sadly.  I still have the white one.

And there was a cream one (no visor) as shown in this group of Austins.

Looks fantastic. I am glad you were the one to get it. I was watching it as well. It was a bit pricey, so I kept debating on the bid.

Looks like a good one. As you said, can't have to many woodies. Here's my maroon one.

Here's mine, purchased in 2015. I too was patient while watching it and then took the plunge. The gold/black/wood combo is very effective and I once read that the real car is or was in Norway.

More on the above car.  Was owned by a friend in California until January this year then sold here

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1953-austin-a-70/

This car was once fully restored by a fellow in Los Angeles, then sold and left outside and it went down hill substantially before being sold to the BaT seller who ultimately realized it was more than he wanted to tackle..  The BaT buyer is in Dayton, Ohio and hopefully will get a new restoration.  So this particular car is not in Norway but still in the USA.
