An unusual Land Rover.

It's called Centaur; a hybrid between Series III and a small tank. There were few prototypes built in 1979, some are still in existence. 

The model is built in Russia (?) and there were only 10 built. It's very heavy!

My memory ain't what it used to be, but I thought I saw this was on the proposed slate of models by TrueScale for this year. It might have been a version with smaller tracks front and rear.

@mg-harv It was Matrix, Harv, with an individual track kit on each wheel. Different body, too.

Yeah, that one might work well during our Chicago-area winters, where the tank treads would come in handy ! Plus, the other tank-like properties would do it well for potholes and other drivers year-round !
