Brooklin BRK 068 1954 Chevrolet refinished by the late John White.
A few weeks ago I was able to acquire this Brooklin in a beautiful Cashmere Blue with white top. John White's refinishing included the chrome-bordered white flash on the rear fenders which meant the decals were removed. Once again, Amanda Hookings at Brooklin came to the rescue with a replacement decal set. I cut out the Bel Air script and applied them today so it's ready for display.

Absolutely stunning model, Harv. Thanks for posting the pics. I have a number of Chevies (and other makes, too) redone by John, but sadly never got around to sending him my Navajo Tan '54 for detailing. I wish I had.
It's sad that we'll never have any more models from John. He truly was a master of his craft.

John did absolutely stunning work. That is so correct! Other sad news follows.
I just heard that long time collector and York, PA Toy Show promoter Barry Skelly passed on from the Coronavirus. RIP condolences to his family.
