This post in my Brooklin in Illinois series features the 1954 Mercury Monarch Lucerne coupe in white and red (BRK173). The model was available from 2011 to 2012 and has many plated parts including the plated window surrounds. It looks nice and photographs well. The background photo shows the covered bridge in Long Grove, Illinois decorated with holiday lights.  The single lane bridge was originally built as an iron truss structure with the wood cover added later.  Happy Holidays everyone.

Love the setup and model Ed. Happy to have this touch of Canadian in my collection.

Outstanding, Ed. That Mercury really stands out.
