@chris, I'm convinced most of the white metal guys aren't all that interested in resin and vice versa. When Brooklin introduced their '63 Riviera at the same time Goldvarg came out with theirs, both were sell-outs. There are certainly folks who collect subjects who will not be interested in another model like the one they have, regardless of what it's made of. But at Brooklin's current production levels, they will have no problem selling out. As of yesterday, the remaining models of the 50 of each color being made looked like this:
Daytona Yellow - 4 left
Hugger Orange - 8 left
Garnet Red - 10 left
Rally Green - 10 left
LeMans Blue - 9 left
So, preorders have been strong, with another few months before the models are ready to ship.

@jkuvakas Great news for Brooklin. As I've noted, I make no pretense about being a "1/43 expert," I'm far more knowledgeable about 1/18; everything you stipulated makes total sense to me.
