C2 Corvette (pix)
I just bid and won this on another auction. I feel that '63 Corvette Split-window coupes have been modeled to death but this is the first '63 convertible I've seen in 1/43 scale.

Very nice Frank. I think it was a '63 that Brooklin did ages ago.
It was pale gold with a red interior. It later appeared as a Rod43. Perhaps it was a '64 though...I can't remember but I'm sure Dick will know.
It was a 64
Brooklin did a nice job on that one.
The '64 Vette (Rod 14) is on my wish list.
Frank, You missed one friday
I knew someone would know! Was there much of a difference between the two years?
Apart from 12 months that is!
Frank please email me john.minx 'at'btinternet.com
The major difference (that I know of) is that the '63 has...
chrome/silver grills on the hood. the '64 does not. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
JR..I'm having problems sending email..
mine is malibufg 'at' comcast.net
"Ya snooze, ya loose". My finances are being directed..
to buy a model that has been eluding me for some time now.
Frank, Your right on.
The detail of the vent window frame is very good (pix)...
for a diecast. You might be able to see it in this photo. The window rubber is shown in black (same as the 1:1).
