It's been a long time since an Indy Pace car has appeared. There were three pace cars at the 1992 Indy 500, and several "official" cars, but this one has the modified rear light bar of one that paced the race. Cadillac used 1993 model year cars, and they were painted Pearl Red - the last model year for the Allante.
Stamp initially announced it would release 199 of these, but the tag on mine says it's No. 10 of only 99. Now if only Al Unser Jr.'s winning car would be made in 1/43.

New to me too. Indy Pace Cars make a nice sub-collection. So far, I have only a dozen or so. This one is a real beauty. Thanks Harv.

Not for me...they got the light bar in the rear incorrect.
Once again, it is just not that complicated.
