This Corgi from the 1960s was one of my first purchases in the Corgi models.

First, the 9041 issue in all its classic glory. Cost $4 back then.

Next, the now very rare and collectible  Hardy Boys 1912 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow in red and yellow, along with the whole band.

You took good care of your models. These still look nice after 60 years.

Yep, 4 bucks is what I paid. The actual car is RR Chassis 1907, body by Barker.

1912 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost by Corgi is excellent. This is a famous Corgi Classics range which was prosucing from 1964 till 1969.

This amazing series includes 5 Brass Era cars- Bentley 3L, Ford Model T, Renault 12-16, Daimler and Rolls Royce. The main purpose of these models was collecting. not playing as for many models in that time.

The production was finished n 1969 because the fire has destroyed the most part of Corgi plant in Swansea in 1969.

In 1985 the company rebirthed this series. But the most of detailes were simplier than original. Few years later the production stopped.

I've had these 2 old Corgi Classics forever - probably paid $4 each also!
