How many cars did you take with you?  Must have carried a large crate around with you! 🤣Â
@karl Actually I went Friday and Sunday only. Since I knew Saturday who was there, I was able to research who drove what, and what I had, so just these 5. I had more Hobbs and Redman cars I could have taken, but didn't want to push my luck - maybe next year. Lyn St. James was there too but I don't have any of hers.
BTW, Alain was doing race commentary on Friday (HUGE screen at the track) and was wearing a dark green sweater vest emblazoned with "Alfa Romeo".

Something I forgot to ask you last weekend in Countryside. How did you get so interested in Alfa Romeos?

Sorry to hijack this thread, Harvey! Ed - my Dad drove 2 Alfas and I got the second one when I was 17. He had a '72 Berlina and a '76 Alfetta - both blue. He 'upgraded' to a white MB 300D so I got the used Alfetta! Lucky me! So I have a soft spot for blue Alfas!

Five for five - nice work! I saw Lyn St James at the historic Indy races before a 500 and Brian Redman met our group in 2018 for a few days when we toured Italy. Lots of good racing stories!  Alain de Cadenet was also supposed to be there but was recovering from a racing incident! So glad you could see them and get their autographs.
