David's recent kit build of his BMW Z8 got me inspired to dig out my Minichamps model for some photos. The model was released about the same time as The World is Not Enough, and came in a box promoting the movie. The real Z8 was made from 2000 to 2003, but that was not soon enough for movie production, which used a mockup on a Corvette chassis. The model has a BMW part number and has a unique clam-shell design which folds out to create a stand for the model.
