With all the posts about Thunderbirds, I thought I would post a few diecasts pf the first generation cars. First up here's the '55 by Minichamps again, both views this time:
Tekno made a 1956 in both convertible (below) and coupe versions.
Solido also made a '55 - i no longer own this one.
Finally here's the Franklin Mint version with all its opening features.

IMO the very best model of the 55 bird, Ford Products version is the best. too bad they didn't stick around long enough to do the 56 and 57. Their 62 Sports Roadster is also a home run.
