I had the gentleman's name and number earlier in the year but misplaced it. I tried to place an online order, but it couldn't be completed so his site isn't operational.
Perhaps he'll take an order by phone?
Dear Mark, they shut down the business for good. A pitty.
Sorry to hear. A fine dealer from whom I purchased several models over the years.
Bob Hooper is such a fine guy, always so helpful. I have bought many Brooklins from him over the years. I wonder if Brooklin’s new marketing plan is squeezing these independent dealers out. I will miss dealing with Uncle Bob as many of us called him. Every Christmas and for my birthday he was helpful to my wife Jeannie when she wanted to surprise me.

I’m surprised there wasn’t any kind of announcement or closeout sale. Bob was a reliable source for Brooklins and other makes and I regularly got his quarterly flyers. I was hoping he’d be at the Countryside show this weekend. Did he retire?
Randy, to my knowledge Bob only came to the 1/43 scale show once and afterwards told me he didn't do enough business to justify coming back. I've been buying from Bob for close to twenty years and the above posts are the first I'm hearing about him shutting down his business. I do know that Bob had some things outside of his business that were a concern of his. My sincere hope that Bob is okay because he has always been a terrific guy to do business with.
His website id still up and running! Lots of stock listed so it is a shame. Hope he is OK...

Bob has had several challenges recently, aside from moving to a new home. He suffered a fairly severe injury which is taking some time to recover. I know he wanted to get back up and running but it may have been simply too much. I think we all wish him well and appreciate his contribution to our hobby. He is certainly a straight-up dealer that we can trust. Maybe we'll see him active again.

I spoke with Bob today and he told me that while he has had several challenges recently, he has not shut down the business. Bob did tell me that it will be a little while before he is up and running at full speed but that he hoped it would be there by the end of the year.
@bob-jackman I called the number I had, and a recording said "unable to complete this call". Also nothing comes up for https://www.dominionmodels.com/ or https://dominionmodels.com/order at this time. I last tried the links in October and the site came up, but not now.
That's a shame. I saw a Brooklin he had on eBay and I sent him a question because I wanted to buy another model also. Never heard back from him which I considered very odd for him.
Mark L. I called Bob two weeks ago and talked with him for quite a while. He again told me that he planned to reopen sometime after the first of the year. He is in the process of trying to sell his home and has had some health issues both of which he is trying to resolve. His website has been shut down for some time but he said that he will get it back up and running when he can. I called him at the number he has had for years: 540 375 3750. That's all I know at this time.
Thanks, Bob, I had been dealing with Bob Hoooer for a number of years and it was always a pleasure to talk with him. He always so helpful. My wife usually had conversations with him when it was time for Santa Clause to make his rounds. What you tell us is encouraging. I would look forward to ordering from him again.

Spoke with him a few days ago regarding an order. He is in the office intermittently.
He advised me he has not shut down the business. He is getting back up to speed slowly.
