Here's a gold-plated (?) show car, the 1932 CADILLAC from movie “THE LAST EMPEROR” by TSM. The Last Emperor is a 1987 epic biographical film about the life of Puyi, the final Emperor of China. This modern model is based on the car in the Chinese city of Changchun, in the Puppet Manchurian Palace. During the years of Japanese control in the 1930's and early 40's, the deposed emperor of China was put back into his historical position as a puppet. He was without political power. The palace itself was created by the Japanese for Puyi to live in as the ruler of the Manchuko state. It is kept as a museum today, with displays of period items such as clothing, jewelry, and Puyi's 1932 Cadillac. I have never been there, but it's an interesting model.

68 Mustang GT and 68 Dodge Charger “Bullitt” (Greenlight)
Interesting side note. I lived for 32 years in the town that is in the background of this photo, Brisbane California, where the Bullitt chase scene was filmed. Cycled this road, the Guadalupe Canyon Parkway hundreds of times to the top of San Bruno Mountain (1250 feet).
