Mine is on its way from Hong Kong. Pre-ordered three weeks ago....

Now I'm eagerly awaiting the announcement for both the red/black '57 Buick Caballero (I already have the blue one) and the yellow/black '59 Dodge... Bring 'em on!!

I saw it on eBay but US cars of the 1980's & 1990's are usually not for me.

Likewise most 1970's.

(Pic) I saw this 1959 Dodge at an exposure at Chambly this summer. For me this car was the most attractive. The fins are unbelievable.

PIC-Michel, Thanks for a great shot of an excellent example of a tutone 59 Dodge. Here's another one

Would really love to see the 1:43 Dodge HT painted in the more vibrant colors Michel and I posted instead of the posted shades.

This is a gorgeous two tone, Frank. I prefer this two toning than the two toning on the AE 1959 Dodge.
Merci beaucoup! For the picture.

I agree with you Michel. The AE colors are bland and were not on very many 59 Dodges here.

Dick, I don't aspire to cars of the 70s, 80s, 90s either, but I love these models !!

After the mid 70s, cars were just transportation.

I agree also, The only bland 59 Dodges were 4 door sedans with poverty hub caps

I visited AE's website and can't find the Dodges anywhere.

Please remind me of the colors they plan to do the Dodges in. Wasn't one of them yellow and black? If so, I don't think that that combination can be called "bland," because it's really pretty vivid. But I can't remember for sure if that was one of the color combinations discussed.

If anyone can tell me where to find pictures of the forthcoming Dodge, I'd appreciate it.

Rick, I thought it was yellow with only the fin and lower body, not the roof, grey. If they also did the roof in the contrasting grey/black, that would be much better.

They're on NEO's site.............................

Go to neoscalemodels.com and click the 'Union Jack' for english, then hit 'NEW'.
I believe the '59 Dodge is on the fifth or sixth page.
It looks really good to me and I agree, yellow and black looks anything but 'bland'.

Hate to disagree with the Oracle of New Jersey, but there were more and much better handling cars that followed versus their pre-mid seventies brethern. Styling often may have been ugly to so-so, but quite honestly, the cars of the 50's and 60's that we loved were more like huge rolling juke boxes or powerhouses on steroids without brakes to match. And if you looked around, you could still get a good package of design, power, and handling, such as the Camaros, Firebirds, the popular eighties Cutlass, Regal, and Grand Prix coupes, The Buick Regal Grand Nationals, the original Poniac SSE or the early Taurus/Taurus SHO to name a few. Every new car I bought in the 80's and 90's had a sports suspension either standard or optional. Would take any of those automotive packages I bought (all domestics), even with the standard suspensions, over most pre-70's any day, except for the 67 Vette:))
