OK, as many of you know, I am a big fan of Brooklin Models. I really discovered them with my 1st purchase in August 2014, at that time I bought my first three (more on those later w/photos) when they arrived, I quickly began looking to see what else was available. I was really surprised at the variety and diverse selection they offered. OK, now I needed to secure funds... LOL!
With the introduction of the North American Brooklin Collector's Club in both their new page on the O-Gauge Forum and well as FaceBook, I thought it would be kind of cool to feature my collection in photos once again (or for the 1st time with some of them)
So maybe I could share them on this forum as well-for some of these it has been years since they were posted. If that is acceptable and the participants here are interested.
Here was the 1st post from a few days ago.

I love to share my models and I have a pretty extensive photo catalog of most of them. If ok, I would love to feature my models from time to time in a continuing thread.
Now the 1st one to feature is a tough choice... but I think I will go with this very special model that came to me from the Dick Browne collection. When Dick passed away, his model collection was sold via an eBay seller. I was quite fortunate to be able to add quite a few of them (I wish I could have gotten some others, but...)
Like the third model I added, this is a 1935 Pierce-Arrow Model 845 Coupe. It is a factory color sample in white (I do not know how many were made-I was told this may be the only one) This is the 400th Brooklin Model to be added and is one I had to have so I bid accordingly.

I looked at your posts 001 through 003, and these are great looking models. Do you display most of your models, and if yes would you include a picture or two showing your collection?

Always love to see your models, John!

John have you ever added detail to an older Brooklin or Lansdowne such as a bit of bright scraping? Not much, just in a few key -- and easily reached--areas. This could make some of these models really pop. But I'm too concerned over klutziness to risk spoiling an expensive piece.
I often do this but with bare metal foil which if you are not happy with the results you can immediately remove it. On some older Brooklins it really improves them in my opinion.

I agree, John. The older Brooklins and bare metal foil just go together, but please not 50/50.
I do display a small amount of them. Right now, my display cabinets are still being built. I will try to get a few photos of the ones I have displayed right now. I do change them periodically.

I have not detailed any of them myself-although I am going to give it a try on a couple to see how it goes. I have never been very good at bare-metal foiling.
