I have always been fascinated with station wagons and while there are plenty available from other manufacturers and I have quite a few in my collection in diecast & resin form. I seem to get a whole lot of satisfaction from these white metal gems-when I started looking into Brooklin models I had not yet discovered the others available in the higher-end white metal market. The style of the '54 Mercury has always been a favorite of mine. I discovered many of the models available from Brooklin, but this wagon was the top of my list. There is nothing like the look of wood panels (even if they are not real) and a bright red paint job.
