Here's another model from my collection I'm incredibly fond of. With my visit to the NB Center in Allentown, PA a few years ago, I had the opportunity to see this 1:1 of this model in person. It was the 1st '46 Pontiac I'd seen and I was very impressed with the overall style of the car. Of the several cars on display in the main hall, this was the one that got most of my attention. I was able to sit behind the wheel of this gem and study all of the design attributes of the car, inside and out.

NICE! More like the 'every man's car, no visor, not the top of the line.

I was very enthusiastic when this model has been announced. When I received mine, the chrome plating was pitted and horrible. I received a replacement which was not really better but I appreciated Brooklins outstanding customer service.

This is a nice model representing a no frills basic transportation of the 40's.
