As I indicated in my previous posts, this model was issued in four colors, with open & closed versions in each. Two of these four were offered from GLM direct and two were offered as Tom Dirnberger Exclusives. Today's model is 2nd one from GLM direct.

Those streamlined rear lights are space-age cool, but the floating headlights are sorta 'weird'. I guess they might have said the word 'peculiar' in 1962... In reading about Virgil Exner, he continued that trend with the newer Stutz. Another odd design!
@jkuvakas I like the free standing headlights and tail lights which makes the 62 my second favorite Imperial next to the 55.
The closed convertible looks so stately! Of the '61-'63 Imperials, the '62 is my favorite with the split grill and the amazing taillights that are a cohesive match to the headlights. Beautiful pictures John!
