Recently GFCC Toys issued some new Cadillac models, the 1954 & 1955 Series 62 Coupe de Ville Hardtops. To my eyes (I am no expert) they look really good. The colors are reasonably accurate to factory colors for most of them. With that said, they aren't perfect. The '55s have one noticeable mistake, they forgot to put the chrome strips on the rear of the car. This should be an easy fix with a bit of wire (which I need to go to the Hobby Lobby for) I originally bought one of each year, being impressed with what I received, I went back for a few more of each year. There are a quite a few Cadillac models available in the '54-'56 years, but as I always seem to justify another one added, "You can never have too many Cadillacs"

eBay, from a seller I've bought several models in the past. Always good service, tongbotoys in China.

Good looking Cadillac, John. I like it! As to those chrome strips on the rear, I've been trying to remember and can't. Some of the '54 Cadillacs had them and some didn't.
Here's a 1:1 I found on the web with no chrome strips. Their presence could have to do with the series number (62, 60). I think GFCC just might be correct. However, the '55 versions seem to all have the strips.
Happy hunting!
The '55s have the strips, the '54s do not. GFCC got the '54 correct, just messed up a bit on the '55, easy fix.
