Thank you for this interesting article Tom. I found the Vauxhall segment of particular interest as there were very many of them on the streets in British Columbia, Canada in the 50s and 60s. I have many 1:43 models of them representing that time frame as well.
Good one, Tom! The feature on the Ford Crestliner was a special reminder for me, because that is one of the cars that first really caught my pre-teen attention. Then an uncle bought a new '51 Mercury version that really had me going! But that wasn't all in your good writing. The final article on the Franklin was most informative, and the pictured advertising (car, woman, and dog) is spectacular. Great issue!
Tom and John, these Gearbox issues are outstanding. Always, several great articles to read.
Much appreciated and please continue. Thank you!
