Today, I found this picture posted on the Goldvarg Facebook page. It says this is the final stage of development. I am not much concerned by the hood ornament for now but I am puzzled to see a fender mounted antenna.

Well........ it's the way it will be...... with a mounted fender antenna. The hole in the casting is clearly visible.

Well, I agree.

That hood ornament is a bit strange (doesn't seem to match anything I've ever seen ).

As you noted, however, that fender mounted antenna is the real mystery. 1948 Buicks were manufactured with pivot-hoods. The hood could open from the left or right side and that is why (ALL??? ) 1948 Buicks had center-mounted-roof antennas..... or so I thought. 🤔 🤔

Otherwise, this Buick looks great!

If the car had a factory mounted antenna it would be on the roof. Looks like the fender mounted antenna depicts an after market installation.
