Goldvarg 1964 Cadillacs and Ford Falcon
Received my 2 1964 cadillacs today. The saddle is missing the hood v and crest and the aquamarine has loose bent side body molding and white wall with black marks in it. Going back to seller for refund. Also purchased red Falcon Sprint which had the right side body molding creased and unglued along with cracked case. Very disappointed and am cancelling the Buick Electra I have on order. 3 for 3 and won't be 4 for 4. Great quality control checking.
I agree with your actions, Michael. Please let us know if you have any problems with the returns.
Sorry you had a problem, Michael. I have several Goldvargs, almost all of them.
I bought mine from Legacy and they've all arrived in perfect condition. Is it possible yours were not packed well for shipping?

Sorry to hear about your issues, but if there are some parts missing, and in both Cadillacs, don't you think that may be the shipper is the one to blame?
That's because the way they manage the boxes during shipping in this time of the year, as the are overloaded.
I check the quality myself one by one before shipping and this is the first time (that I am aware) about missing parts, etc.
I am behind each GOLDVARG model because I do them with passion, and I want every single collector to be happy with them, so I will send you free of charge your Cadillacs and also free of charge the Buick Electra, which I'm sure you will not be disappointed.
Please send me your address and information to my email: info@goldvargcollection.com
All my contact information is in each Goldvarg Collection box, so that's the easiest way to be in touch with me and solve the issue.
Thank you. Sergio Goldvarg.
Knowing the reputation Sergio has on here, and the fact his so obviously a great enthusiast and passionate about his models; then I would have thought a private email to him about this matter may have resulted in the same outcome, without publically denigrating him in this manner.
Wow - what customer service!
And a second "Wow" from me!
sergio has right i prefer wait for order after the first week of 2020 merry Christmas to all .
I am very confident in the Goldvarg QC process. It is extremely likely that the damage was caused in shipping. I also am very aware that Sergio stands firmly behind his product and takes pride in it. He is a collector and enthusiast who appreciates the importance of a model order not being disappointing. It is also very obvious that he is completely willing to make things right; even when the fault may not be his. I'm sure you will be satisfied with Sergio's response and solution to this disappointment.
As a courtesy always contact the vendor first.
+1
I agree carl....there lies a responsibility on the manufacturer, the vendor, and the buyer....
and the buyer in this case is wrong for posting this.
He should have contacted the vendor and manufacturer privately.
Very well done Sergio..... at least somebody in this unfortunate event has some class.
Private contact is warranted!
It does no one any good to publicly chastise a responsible vendor for damage to a model. A private personal contact should be accomplished before making any public statements, especially someone who we know will stand behind his product.
I’ve never had an issue with any Goldvarg model. Goldvarg and Brooklin offer the finest customer service in the world of precision models!
