I’m moving up from 1/64 to 1/43 for several reasons and I’m trying to sell off 1/64s to help finance the change. What do you all think of the Greenlight 1/43? I’m sure there’s a sacrifice because of the low price, but are they worth buying to help get a collection started? They’ve got a few that I really like which, really, is the point of the hobby lol.

I highly recommend them for their price point!  But I am biased - I live in Indy, where they are based and have been to their Open Day before!  Some of theirs are a bit basic and can be upgraded later to much more expensive models.  Which ones were you thinking about?

Greenlight Bigfoot
Greenlight VW Jetta blue
Greenlight Jeep Polar
Greenlight FORDs 2013
Greenlight Torino
Greenlight Subaru
Greenlight Chevelle
Greenlight VW Jetta two

Some are good, some are excellent (recent Jeeps in particular). Sometimes they release their own version of an Ixo product.

Thanks for the info, guys!

I like that Torino! Haven’t even seen it before. I have my eye on the blue Cobra II, 65 Continental, and 77 Trans Am.

I spent some time on eBay and saw all kinds of 1/43. Kinda blew my mind. From the less technical Dinkys up to stuff that was hundreds of dollars. My watch list is overflowing!

Greenlight replicas are highly recommended ! They are especially nice at their price and generally widely available, too.

I think my favorite tonight is the Elvis-owned Stutz.  It's so overloaded that it doesn't just stand out. . . it screams for attention!  Good post, Frank.

@d-m-holcombe Here's an example of GreenLight's use of PCT/Ixo production. Premium X issued the '71 Stutz in 2013. A few were made for Model Car World in Germany like mine in metallic red over metallic gray.
