Have been sick a while, unfortunately, but I'm back.

Just wanted to let everyone know I didn't leave. I *do* have a chronic illness and that interferes with things at times. It even knocked me off my schedule for the Brazilian Wheels Series in MAR. However, I'm going to go back to that and cover it along with the test partwork "Chevrolet Collection" (Brazilian Chevys aplenty!) released by Salvat. After a hard-thought decision, I will NOT be covering the Brazilian "cars in public service" series. My next MAR article will almost certainly be my longest, as it has to do with the partwork being in transition and the extension, plus addressing some complaints about cars like the Peugeot 205 GTI (which is a pretty nice model, actually, but was NOT a Brazilian car as modeled and therefore is terribly miscast in the partwork).

Welcome back, JW. I've missed your in-depth research.

It's nice to have been missed! Since the images I give MAR are a bit low-resolution, I think...

...I'll throw you one of my favorites that's coming up in the next article...

1989 Chevrolet Bonanza SUV. It's personally my favorite model in the upcoming article, although I really do have to tip my hat to them on both Fiats I'll be featuring.

Also, someone apparently asked how I got the background. Would you believe it's just a Manila folder folded open and rested against a wall?

Maybe you was sick after checking the Fissore...

Another badly done model. Latest one released in Rio is the Romi Isetta but it looks they modelled an Iso Isetta not a perfect Brazilian version. I cancealled my subscription to avoid getting those wrong and strange models. Will just buy the few ones I want.

I noticed the headlight bezels are Iso, but I think you can correct that.

As for the Fissore, the only thing I have good to say about it, unfortunately, is that the top is plastic. If Ixo redoes the top, they can get it right.

Thanks John! I am getting better, but some things just seem to take forever.

Basically, I had a mild relapse.

It should be ready in a week or two. I decided to redo a big part of it, namely...

...devoting a part to the controversy Sergio speaks of. While I'm not going to lose my objectivity or anything, I can't deny what's been going on and have to report that it's happening, good or bad.

It's good you are feeling better ! Gee whiz, but next time say : "Been sick a while, unfortunately". (full stop) But I'm back.

LOL , the other way kinda sounds like you're warning everyone of your impending return !

Mike, I think you know I have a weird sense of humor. I hoped someone WOULD read it as you did! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Also, I have one model I've been saving for--the Minichamps Chrysler Norseman--coming and I plan to do a review on the Zone for it. Given that this this is the only American concept car I've ever truly put a lot of research time into, I believe I owe it to all of you.
