If ever a set of models had the potential to get more people into 1:43, these are the ones...
I got these in last week for issue six, and finally decanted them yesterday. WOW. In a nutshell: keeping in mind the cost, the not-so-limited edition production, and the subject matter, I'd be willing to bet that these models will be gateways for a lot of collectors who will be pulled in - and stay around.
Enjoy the snaps; they'll look better on paper, I promise.
These certainly look like tremendous models, Joe. Beautifully done .... and your fine pictures show them off ideally here.
Thanks for the pics, Joe. I have all 4 of them on order and am anxious to get them in my hands.
Great looking models Joe, too bad it's nothing I collect.

Dear Mr. Coon,
I have been wanting to drive out to OK to see you and to WY to see John W. Whitehead in Cheyenne. But I have not made it yet. I have been following your answers to the MAR quiz for years. Do you know Whitehead? He has not been listed recently. I hope he is OK.

Great phots. as usual, Joe. Ya gotta love the period correct backgrounds as well!
Say, when you get done with those models, can you send them to me? Can I keep them? I don't mind helping out with the shipping...a little 😉

What do they cost?
And from whom do I place my order?

Joe, they may bring in more people in NA into our world ....
of collecting 1:43rd scale miniatures and let's hope they do!
However, they need to be accessible to people who don't usually buy this stuff. And here on Forum 43 we have collectors asking where to find 'em! So if these chaps are asking what chance does a 'newbie' have?

Pete - I haven't talked to John in a while either, if you hear from him let me know
I wonder if he's back to touring with rock groups like Cheap Trick?
