I received the following information about this set from Alain Morot.
Alain heads up Minichamps N.A.
"The value of this set does not represent 65 years of real car making but 20 years span of diecast quality and evolution.
The Karmann Ghia is one of the first 1990 Minichamps diecast metal tool designs and the Porsche turbo illustrates the evolution in tool design and technique used today by Minichamps. There very few around of this set (they just received it) and at this price should make the delight and smile of your readers."

A neat set but .........
Wasn't it issued last year?
And if you already have bought a Ghia 20 years ago would you want another
one?
Great price.
Cheers Chris
