Matchbox did a great line of low price, good quality 1/43 models about 20 years ago when I got this Chevrolet Stepside.

Matchbox did a great job with this series of classic pickups.  Checking my shelves I find a '38 Rio,  '40 Ford, '38 Studebaker coupe express, and '55 Chevrolet with two stove bolt six cylinder engines in the bed.  That one does not have the unusual twin hood ornaments that the above Chevy step side has.   There may have been more?

@parisi50  I think that IXO (Altaya) also did a nice job on their green 1956 Chevy pickup; especially at its low price point.
