Minichamps 20 Year Anniversary 1:43 Set

To celebrate Minichamps 20th year, they have issued a commemorative 1:43 duet presenting a Porsche 911 (997) and a VW Karmann Ghia Coupe.

Yes, it's true, a 2010 Porsche and a 1955 Karmann Ghia represent a longer span than 20 years. Go figure. The models do a celebratory job, nonetheless. The replicas beat party hats and noisemakers.

For the next 48 hours, this duet is on sale from $80 to $50 and this discount only announced on Forum 43.

the Karmann Ghia was 1 of PMA's 1st 1/43 roadcar issues, that's why it's included so the set comprises one of the oldest and one of the latest 1/43 moulds. All of the initial Paul's Model Art/Minichamps releases from 1990 onwards were motorsport models, the first roadcars came only after a few years.

The packaging colour scheme is the 1990s style silver-&-blue box colours, which were replaced from 1999 onwards with the current black boxes.
