The NABCC club model #1 is underway at the Brooklin factory! Here's the first image of the windshield. Orders will be closing soon! I'm getting pumped! We'll have more information coming this week!

John, thanks for the update.  There is something I have been wondering.  Do you think the NABCC will just do one club model per year or do more than one per year?

@ed-davis, that's a topic for discussion. How many would like to see another club model in the Spring?

Two a year sounds like a reasonable number to me. Thanks for the update John.

@ed-davis

The short answer is yes. However, our 2nd Brooklin Model will be offered by our sister organization, the D56 Club and Forum. The Department 56 collectors group are for the most part a Christmas related Club, so this model will be very much Christmas themed.

It is now on the Brooklin Models drawing boards and to say that it will be spectacular is an understatement. Because our NABCC members are part of the family so to speak, they are eligable to order this model in addition to the D56 Club Forum members.

Can't wait to share this news with you all.

@ptc

I never knew there was a Department 56 Club Forum.  At one time I used some D56 buildings on my train layout.  Many of them are sized well for a 1/64 scale train layout.  Finally, last year I gave my remaining ones to my neighbor.  Her son and grand daughters really like them.
