Almost accidentally found out the Toledo toy show was happening today. The show was nothing like the ones before, mostly vintage toys, only few higher quality models' staff. I was about to leave with disappointment when I spotted Greg Gunn's table. He gave me unbeatable prices on these 3 models that were on my holy grail list for several years. Greg will be in Chicago tomorrow, he has an amazing 1/43 selection.

Excellent. Congratulations. It's always satisfying when we can hunt one down. You got three! Details! What are they?

MA Collection 1/43 Scale 1951 Talbot Lago T26 Grand Sport Saoutchik coupe red/black, I've seen the car in the Blackhawk museum several years ago, this is the only rendering of this car produced in any scale.
MA Collection 1/43 Scale 1948 Talbot Lago T26 Grand Sport Saoutchik, I have the blue version from 3 different manufactures but was looking for this green version. Ilario also made this color scheme but the proportions of the MA car are better, and the Ilario version in 1/43 was sold out (they still have few in 1/18).
Are the 2 Talbot Lagos the same casting? From that angle, they look slightly different! Congrats on all three of them! 😎Â
No they have different shapes, let me find pics of the real cars
the red/black is actually 1951
My regret is that I've been to the Blackhawk Museum only once.Â
What a memorable visit though !Â
I absolutely love that '51 Talbot Lago in red/black !!!!

Love the two shades of blue !Â
These cars were / are spectacular as are these models of them.Â

A very nice collection of Lago-Talbot you have. I desperately wanted MA's Saoutchik 1948 Paris Salon Lago-Talbot, but was too late. MA in Switzerland did some lovely models, produced by Brianza. I have their Figoni et Falaschi 1937 Paris Salon Delahaye 135 convertible / 1945(?) Franay Delahaye 135 / 1939 Lago-Talbot / 1946 Figoni et Falaschi Delahaye 135 Narval / and 1948 Ghia Delahaye 135. Here is the Ilario Saoutchik Lago Talbot in lieu of your MA version:

Amazing designs and replicas - thank you!Â
Thanks for all of the pictures and writeup Chav. Finding those holy grails is always a treat and talking with Greg is too...a real gentleman.
