The NB Center Collection's Cadillac 1:8 scale V16 Series 452 Engine. Not 1:43 but I thought it might be of interest for some on this board.

That's looks like a beautiful model. Not my thing really, but it definitely could be interesting.

That looks like a fantastic model. Like John Merritt, not my thing. I hope you can bring one to a model show in Countryside, the next time you come. I would love to see one of these models. One last thing. Since I was not at Allentown last year, I did not see the actual car. Do you have a photo of the Cadillac?

I was quite close to my estimate.

But I would suggest to us all to stick to your hard-earned money for the coming time and not spend it too much, because dire straits are around the corner.

And the worst of it all is......we owe it to ourselves.... Serious

There was a group in the San Francisco Bay Area,  Miniature Engine Society,  i think,  that used to create 1:4th scale miniature engines that actually ran and at car shows they had a display and demonstrated them.   Ford flat head fours and V8s  were common but the most amazing of all was a totally correct small block Chevrolet.  Every part was cast and machined by these fellows right down to manifolds, water pumps etc.   They all must have been retired machinists.
