Those familiar with Brooklin's recent history are aware that "Mr. B" stepped in to purchase the company in its eleventh hour. While some like to characterize him as just another rich man trying to get his way, he's actually a passionate lover of American cars and an avid 1/43 collector with an amazing personal collection of Brooklins. He bought Brooklin because he loves Brooklins and wanted to rescue the company from oblivion. Skip Johnson sent me these two articles describing Mr. B's stature in the hobby.

I did not think of his collection as independents and orphans as mentioned in the articles,  but cars you would see on the street post-war...  Buick and Olds weren't orphans when he bought them!  😒  Just my 2 cents... What do others think?
