One more view of an unusual 1938 Plymouth (pic)
This old fashioned slush mold nearly-1:43 returned home today after a visit with Jerry Rettig of Enchantment Land Coachbuilders. Jerry borrowed it to make some castings, and in returned beautifully detailed it. The color, by the way, is more of a maroon/burgandy, but I'm trying to learn how to use some new camera lighting. Nevertheless, now I like it even more!
It's hard to imagine the skills of Robert E. Wagner of New Jersey, working at home amidst his family, sculpting, molding, and finishing these little cars, and then selling them at toy shows. I only have four of them, but I value them highly. Thanks, Jerry, for making this one look even better.
Had to lookup your 'before' pic to compare... WoW! [your pics]
