Here is a Matchbox Models of Yesteryear 1908 Mercedes done in 1/54 scale. Mine is now missing the two spare tires, but I got it new circa 1960 or so and it's a good-looking replica.

One of the few early Yesteryears that I did not have as a kid, so I bought it in the 1980s. Great scene again!!!

Thanks, Karl ! MOY definitely have some excellent cars and I still have ones I got as a kid.

I have a lot of memories............ one of the first Matchbox I got in the early 60's.

These Matchbox and Matchbox Models of Yesteryear cars and trucks I bet were probably many people first diecast car. They still look great so many years later !

I had that one as a kid too, and experienced the same problem with the rear spares falling off. Eventually I glued them on. I still have that one, an MIB replacement purchased years ago.
