This is the 1936 Buck Special in red as very nicely done in 1/43 scale by White Box. I got this beauty some years ago

at one of the Countryside, IL shows.

Smoke and mirrors ! ! This is so convincing, so deceptive to the eye, it is simply amazing to see in the colour shots that maybe it's not an actual car.

Thanks ! And yep, Karl, those are 1940's era Chicago shots ! The "L" tracks on Lake Street are an indicator as is the old above-ground Grant Park area parking.
