This is the Rextoys diecast replica in 1/43 of the giant Cadillac limousine for 1938-40. It is an older diecast replica but very well done and I got it some years ago at one of the Countryside shows in the Chicago area. In those years, if you drove (or were driven) around in one of these huge automobiles, you had it made !
Great pictures.

Great looking car. What a huge limo!
Four more terrific works of art here Mike - thanks. I particularly like the fog in pic #3.
Great pictures as usual Mike. These Rextoys models are quite nice especially for the price.
They are well-done and I was happy to pick this one up. Rextoy diecast cars are generally a fairly inexpensive find but are really nice to pick up and add to one's collection.
Lots of variations of the big V16 Cadillacs, army, navy, town cars, four door convertibles, convertible coupes and coupes. and a black Roosevelt edition with figures. Would the navy and army have really bought V16 Cadillacs? A real shame Rextoy did not survive to launch others makes of cars pictured in their flyer that came with each model.

Love the vintage pics Lloyd!
The military bought Cadillac cars for Staff,
Only the tip-top received Cadillacs; everyone else had Fords or Plymouths.
Or Chevrolets
I haven't seen many WW II U.S. Army Chevrolets, perhaps the Navy got most of them? I would still like to do (4-dr conversion project ) a 1/18 WW II 1941 Plymouth staff car one day (I really need one for my collection ). John, your 1/43 WW II staff cars are great!

Here a 1941 Plymouth sedan but not a staff car version.
