Great pictures Mike. I especially like the third picture with the period correct airplane in the background. I have several Vitesse models and they were very good for the price and time they were offered.
Yes indeed, a very nice model for the price. FYI my airplane geek eyes make out that airplane as a Republic Rainbow. A beautiful attempt at a high speed photo rec aircraft. They also tried to market it to the airlines. No takers.
This Vitesse Chrysler has been around for several decades, and it's still a most impressive piece. Thanks for your good photography in showing it off once again. Well done!
These Vitesse Chryslers can be nicely enhanced with some bare metal foiling of the fender moldings and the belt line molding. The front fender molding should be extended further to the rear above the wheel arch.

Thanks, Bob. Yes, they are nice models for their price and capture the '47 Windsor look quite well.

Yep, it's a Republic Rainbow ! As you mention, quite a streamlined and fast four-engined recon craft originally intended for the USAF. Kartveli knew how to design a good-looking airplane !
Alexander Kartveli and Kelly Johnson in sleek aircraft design perhaps are kind of like Harley Earl and Virgil Exner are to sweeping automotive design. (others could be added to that list, too)
@keko-romero I have the Brooklin and think it is one of their best efforts to date. I don't have the Vitesse but like it with the blackwall tyres.
I think the same about the Brooklin. My Vitesse is an old casting from the last 90s but recently it was reissued again in different colors and with better details.
My Vitesse Town & Country Convertible with the Brooklin sedan...
I really hate to nit pic nice models, especially if the are in my collection but the Vitesse Town & Country is not quite correct in that the front clip is borrowed from the Windsor in length. All T&C convertibles used the huge straight 8 side valve engine which necessitated the longer front end. The Windsor sedan is correct, being a 6 cylinder car. Strangely the T & C sedans such as the Brooklin were 6 cylinder cars (all but a tiny handful) so Brooklin got this correct. I left my Vitesse convertible stock but did change the front end length on some of my Kagar transkits and the Crown Imperial limousine I made. This info must be from too many hours studying the Crestline books.
