What's with the narrow whitewalls? They are totally wrong for a 57 Buick as they were totally wrong for the 54 Mercury.

The whites look better on the Buick than the Mercury.

Nice looking Buick. Will it be generally available soon?

Yup, it's Biscay Blue Metallic over Dover White and it's done correctly. Looks very nice.

They got the paint scheme right, but failed on the interior color & the exhaust.

Regardless of series, one color of blue vinyl was used with different patterns in the cloth.
I don't know where they found that Hello Kitty Blue, but it couldn't be more wrong.

The Century interior, although Caballero's used a different design with all vinyl or nylon & vinyl.

My Roadmaster's blue interior (NOS cloth and vinyl) gives a much truer idea of the actual blue.

A half-hour of research would have determined that tailpipes don't stick out of the bumper ends. (Leave the extended pipes to jacked-up Novas and hot rods). Buicks use an extension that contours to the rounded shape of the bumper end, which also hides the pipe's "stub" as it exits a rear resonator.

Conquest got it wrong, too, but it's still no excuse. They must have corrected it, 'cause my Biscay Blue/Dover White has it right, and my solid Dover White has it wrong; I just don't know which is older (I've had the former since it came out, and the white is a recent buy of indeterminate age).

It goes back to what I've said before about modelling a car with incorrect aspects
or features, simply because that's the car at hand.

If you dont like it you dont have to buy it.

I dont pass up any model because the tires are not to my liking. Takes five minutes to change 4 tires.

Tom. Conquest's Dover White '57 Roadmaster was issued in 1991 and the Biscay Blue with white version was issued in 1992. So looks like they made a running change to correct this issue. I have the Garnet Red (coppery color) issued in 1991 and it has those protrusions. The '57 released by Conquest around 2006 doesn't have them stick out so much. BTW, your Buick is beautiful.

Love the Buick, Tom. Will you take $125 for it?

That's what I pay for one exhaust extension;-) Talk about hard to find!

OK...I'll go $150...but keep it between you and me. I have a reputation to preserve.

Seriously, Tom. You have some of the most beautiful and desirable cars I've seen. Excellent taste!

Thanks for the Conquest info Randall, and the compliment, too! The big Buick is a joy to own & drive
