(Pics) A 1950 Studebaker Champion coupe.
This is a '50 Studebaker 2 door coupe by Yat Ming/Road Signature in their 1/43rd scale line. As with several other cars they have done in 1/43, this car is also duplicated by them in their larger 1/18th scale series.
Here, it's in blue and it displays extremely well, while at the same time being a very budget-priced model. It looks very good coming or going !

Great pictures, Mike. Here's a shot of compariston:
The '50 is marked Road Signature, and I think it was made by Yat Ming. Beside it is a '51 business coupe by 43 Avenue, quite a bit larger. They're both interesting models.
This picture better shows the size difference.
That '51 Studebaker business coupe looks wonderful, David. Such business coupes from that era, especially, had a very appealing style to them.
The color on that 43 Avenue car seems very close to the Maui Blue on my Highway 61 1951 Commander in 1/18th scale.
Mike your photos are great--you could even make Kuvakas' 59 Chevy wagon look good
LOL ! Thank you, John. I fear you may vastly over-match me vis-a-vis Mr. Kuvaka's fabled wagon !
Do you mean this one?

Shhhh....I don't think he looks down here.
Mike, it's amazing what good photography can do for an inexpensive model! Just great...
