PICS : Here are some pictures of my Car Den as it sits right now. I do not.................
have all of my stuff out yet and I do not have all my 1:43 models on the wall yet. 2 of my 1:43 cases were damaged during transport. I have ordered new ones but they are not up yet. The end of the room where the desk is needs to be finished as well. I like to take my time and think about where things are going before I just put thinks out and or up. photo no longer available

This Matchbox display case I bought about 2 weeks ago from the local Hobby Shop here in town. It had been in there store for over 40 years. I remember it from when I would go in the store to buy model kits. It is awesome to own it now lol!photo no longer available

Well there you go. That's my Car Den hang out room. I will be adding things and probably moving things as time goes by. I have a few more vintage model kits to put out as well and of course the rest of my 1:43 cars. Its a very comfortable room to hangout in. Visually pleasing and fun. Everyone that has seen it really liked it. A lot of my family members had never seen my model collection. My collection is nothing compared to others, but hey they were impressed lol ! Like Albert, My "area" is not nearly as organized as this. And unfortunately I have to share the room with my lovely lady. Otherwise it would be wall to wall car stuff!

Out of curiosity, which hobby shop did you pick-up that Matchbox case from? I'm going to the Buick Grand Nationals in Portland in July and I would not mind stopping by some hobby/diecast shops in town.

Alfred, Trumps Hobby in Corvallis OR. They have a web site so just Google it for.................
hours and directions. The store is stuffed with items but not much of anything in 1:43 scale. Prices are on the higher side as well. They do not sell on ebay or from a web site. If I was the owner of the store I think I would do both. If you need help directions just ask me using the Forum and I will see if I can help............if I am home that is. I will be gone from this Thursday until 12th of July or something like that. Have to go back to California 1 more time. RANDY
