PICS. PAN AMERICAN AIRWAYS-GOLDVARG COLLECTION AGREEMENT
Dear friends,
We have signed new Licensing Agreement with Pan American Airways and we are developing the Pan Am ground vehicles fleet from 1950's to 1970's era.
The first model soon available is the 1953 Ford Courier "The System of the Flying Clippers". The model is not finished yet, as we need to add the window vents, and correct the tail lights paint. One detail is that the tail light was corrected from the previous one of the 1953 Ford Country Squire. I hope that you will like it!photo no longer available

Pan Am is still around! I had no idea! What a cool idea!
Pan-Am
My understanding is that Pan Am as an airline is no more it was bankrupted by the downing of a 747 over Scotland; the name has been bought by a railroad, so it could be them who have given/sold Goldvarg the rights to use the name.
But then I'm 3000 miles away so could be wrong. There is a Pan-Am RR though.
Dear Roger Kimber,
The Pan American Airways Foundation still exists today and has the rights of Pan American Airways worldwide. Best regards.
This theme is a great idea. Also, PLEASE do a regular Courier
I don't remember precisely, but didn't Durham Classics do a series of Couriers in airline or other logos? Can someone refresh my memory, please?
Hi, Rick. Yes, they did Avro Air (the Cdn. aircraft co,) and Colonial Airways. I don't recall Pan Am
Brooklin Models did the '57 Ford pick up plus '53 Ford panel van in Pan Am livery I recall.
Didn't Brooklin do a '58 Chevy wagon & '55 panel truck with Pam Am logos?
...not so sure about the station wagon on 2nd thought...hmmm.
Durham also did a yellow one in Prairie Air livery.
Randall, I THINK that between us we have it correct...
wasn't it a 57 Ranchero and a 55 Chevy panel van done in Pan Am livery for the BCC a number of years ago?
Jack. I think it is the '57 Ford Ranchero and you're correct - '55/56 Chev Panel Van from Brooklin
I recall that it was a Ford/Chevy combo but the Chev was a truck. We have seen the '58 Chev wagon in light blue but I think that was as a police car. Confusing isn't it?
Thanks, Karl. Forgot the Prairie Air version too. One on ePay right now.
Right...maybe Chicago PD K-9?? It was a while ago.
I have it here somewhere amongst all these boxes. I really must get better organized. Lol.
